Aroma:

Camphene boasts a rich, woodsy scent most commonly compared to damp fir needles. This terpene gives off an earthy, musky scent that has subtle hints of pine. Some consumers reported a damp smell associated with this terpene. 

Flavor:

Camphene has an earthy flavor profile that is hard to distinguish amongst other terpenes. It has a vaporization point of 318.2°F .

Benefits/Effects:

Camphene, more common in hybrid strains, is commonly used in salves. This terpene has also been used since the 19th century as fuel for lamps and was replaced by kerosene. Camphene has anti-biotic, anti-fungal, and anti-viral properties. Combined with Vitamin C, camphene is an effective anti-oxidant. Research has found that camphene could decrease the occurrence of heart disease by reducing cholesterol and triglycerides.
