Ocimene has an herbaceous scent to it that tends to be over powered by other terpenes. Indicating this terpene by scent alone is very difficult.
Flavor:
Ocimene has a sweet, citrus flavor profile. Again, this is often due to the presence of other citrus terpenes as ocimene itself is not a distinguishable terpene standing alone.
