Tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCa) is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid found naturally in raw and live cannabis plants/flowers. This cannabinoid will convert to THC via a process called decarboxylation when vaped, smoked, or heated to a high enough temperature.
THCa can have benefits in it’s raw form by binding to the endocannabinoid system to have anti-inflammatory properties beneficial for arthritis and lupus. Neuroprotective properties found in this cannabinoid are also beneficial for neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Ataxia, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, and other memory disorders.
