Tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCv) is a rare cannabinoid to isolate.

This cannabinoid is known to improve mental focus while also reducing anxiety and paranoia. Sometimes referred to as the “sports car of cannabinoids” because it has all the high of THC but does not carry the “munchies” side effect often associated with THC. Therefore this cannabinoid is used as an appetite suppressant. This cannabinoid also aids blood sugar regulation in diabetic patients. In large doses, THCv can have the opposite effects of THC.
